Next we'll work on the waxed moustache

At the Ottawa Vintage Clothing Sale we found a fantastic tailcoat for Chris. I couldn't believe it when he tried it on, it looks like it has been tailored for him. We never find things that fit him right off the rack, especially vintage! I told him he needs to wear it with a silk sash and tight pants so he'll look like King Charles. By the way, aren't these videos great? The scenery reminds me of Kamloops. Our finds from the Vintage Sale in 2010 & 2009

Zombie Movie Marathon

Image
Last year we celebrated New Year's Day by hosting a Zombie Movie Marathon. After ringing in the new year, most people feel like a zombie and there's not much better than spending the day recovering on the couch, plonked in front of some classic horror flicks with plenty of food and friends. So we've decided to do it again. Here's our line up from last year: 11:00am - Night of the Living Dead (Romero) 12:30pm - Dawn of the Dead (Romero)   2:50pm - Day of the Dead (Romero)   4:32pm - Shaun of the Dead   6:08pm - Dead Snow   7:35pm - Grindhouse: Planet Terror   9:28pm - Zombieland 11:05pm - 28 Days Later 12:50am - 28 Weeks Later We'll have to switch it up, but there's plenty of great zombie films to choose from.

In case you want your own mutant rhino and warthog costumes
